Salary for SEED Employees
SEED is hoping to attract 3 groups, namely housewives
considering to re-enter the workforce, mid-career professionals and fresh graduates. Employers are encouraged
to look at other organizations as benchmarks, mentioning the recent salary increment by PCF and NTUC First
Campus.
NTUC First Campus raised its teachers’ pay package by an average
of 8.4% this year; PCF announced higher starting salaries – at least $2100 – for its teachers with a basic
degree, while childcare teachers would get up to $300 more.
There must be credit given to the industry though, as
polytechnic graduates turned childcare or kindergarten teachers can now earn $1600-$1800, up from $1200-$1300
two to three years ago. The institute has a goal to develop confident professionals deemed deserving of
attractive salaries.
